As we welcome the new year, we will continue to carefully consider and strive to deliver an even more satisfying experience.Due to the year-end schedule, this December Dev Notes is being shared a little earlier than usual.We kindly ask for your understanding.Now, we would like to introduce the January update, which marks the beginning of 2026.[Omen – ???]The first news we would like to share is an introduction to Omen Episode 5 which will be updated on January 27 (UTC-5).This time, a message about the upcoming Omen has been left behind through a fan letter addressed to you.(This text was restored by a Class 1 Administrator.)It has been some time, ■■■■■■■■■■■■. And at the cen■er of it all, a ■■■■ is caught in an ine■■table con■lict.Even if this me■■age has been par■■ally dis■orted by da■a co■■■u■tio■…If it is yo■, I am ce■tain you will gra■p the true mea■ing hid■en within this sp■iler.And now, as y■u stand today...I believe you can st■p the 「Omen」 and save the six ■■■■■■.Because I am your biggest fan, after all.-■■■■■ ■■■■■-[New Counter Pass – Doctor Macy]Doctor Macy, who received strong positive feedback from CEOs following her appearance in the Main Stream story, is joining the roster as a new employee.Doctor Macy is a Counter Fury Supporter who moves on the ground and performs all-around attacks.She excels at dealing powerful damage to enemies with high HP while effectively supporting allied firepower.Please look forward to the impact Doctor Macy will bring as she stabilizes and supports the flow of battle.◆ Doctor Macy[Gauntlet Ban Rules]Ahead of the upcoming season, we would like to provide a detailed overview of the ban rules that will be applied starting next season.First, in Ranked Battles, employees selected as ban will be unavailable for use throughout the entire season.No bans will be applied during the first two weeks of the season, and starting from Week 3, two employees will be added to the ban list each week.As a result, by the latter half of the season, approximately 20 employees are expected to be banned in total. This is a level similar to the number of employees affected by weekly bans in the current season.The selection scope for the employee with the highest number of wins will follow the existing Rotation Ban criteria, and the voting will be conducted within the same scope as the existing Casting Ban system. In addition, ship ban rules will remain unchanged.Meanwhile in Strategy Battles, the Bans & Ups will be removed to allow for more flexible squad compositions.Through this overhaul of the ban system, we hope to encourage more diverse employee usage and foster long-term meta changes.We appreciate your continued interest and feedback regarding Gauntlet content.[Balance Adjustment Targets]As previously mentioned, balance adjustments will be carried out after the end of the Gauntlet season, targeting employees who have seen relatively low usage during the season.Please refer to the list below for the balance adjustment targets. Detailed adjustment directions will be shared separately through the patch notes.■ Balance Patch Target EmployeesChristina BrechtAuraSonyaLevia TannisSpace Cat FelicetteFree Agent Seo YoonGalahad Roy BurnettSix-Wings Amy FirstwingGriffin Rider Christina BrechtAce of Wings Lee SooyeonIn addition, to better counter stealth skills possessed by Albion and certain other employees, we are currently reviewing the addition of stealth detection to the Enterprise.If further countermeasures against stealth are deemed necessary, stealth detection may also be added to other ships in the future.Based on the wide range of feedback provided by our CEOs, we are preparing balance adjustments aimed at delivering a more satisfying experience.Please look forward to the detailed patch notes that will be shared in a future update.[Grand Expedition – Regular Season]The Grand Expedition, which received great interest from our CEOs, will return as a Regular Season on January 27 (UTC-5).For this Regular Season of Grand Expedition, we have actively incorporated the improvement feedback shared by our CEOs.First, a list displaying the employees that may appear during the season will be added, and the battle information panel on the right side of the stage selection screen will be improved to provide more detailed information.In addition, to provide more opportunities to obtain Artifacts and employees, the number of stages within each zone will be expanded from 10 to 15.To further ensure smoother progression, Artifact stats will be enhanced, and new features such as reward reroll and reward popup hide functions will be added.Furthermore, when an assigned employee is equipped with a skin, the skin will now be applied during the Grand Expedition.We also made efforts to include additional story content requested by many CEOs in this season. However, we sincerely apologize that development could not be completed within the schedule due to time constraints.Please rest assured that Grand Expedition related story content will continue to be developed and added in future updates, and we kindly ask for your patience.[Other Improvements]In addition to the items mentioned above, we are carefully reviewing various suggestions shared by our CEOs and considering multiple improvements.First, we are reviewing the introduction of a Strategy Battle skip function to allow CEOs to earn Gauntlet Points more easily and quickly.We are also examining ways to reduce the time required for World Map Branches to reach Level 10.In addition, we value all feedback provided by our CEOs and will continue to thoughtfully consider directions that help us build a better CounterSide.Please feel free to share your ideas and suggestions with us at any time.This concludes the January update information.As CounterSide approaches its fifth year since initial launch and welcomes a new year, this journey has only been possible thanks to the unwavering support from our CEOs.Your valuable feedback, constructive criticism, and warm encouragement have allowed CounterSide to continue moving forward step by step.In 2026, the entire development team will do its utmost to create a CounterSide filled with even greater enjoyment together with our CEOs.Thank you, as always.Hyunsoo Kim, Head PD of CounterSide.

It is a ranged attacker that moves through the air and delivers powerful damage when it detects enemies who have taken a certain amount of damage.It also possesses an ability that allows it to temporarily evade dangerous situations, and its offensive capabilities can significantly increase depending on the circumstances. We expect it to play an important role in Mech-focused squads.◆ Hyperion Plan Titan[New Operator - Myeongdal]Myeongdal, who showcased an impressive presence in Mainstream Episode 14 [Bara], will now be released as an Operator.Myeongdal inflicts the Seal skill effect on all units on the battlefield, while providing a powerful DPS-boosting buff to allied units.We hope you will look forward to the impactful performance that Operator Myeongdal will bring to the battlefield.◆ Myeongdal[New Danger Close Boss - Mors of the Fallen Winter]A new Danger Close boss will arrive to challenge CEOs, following Ray.This time, the Danger Close boss is Mors of the Fallen Winter.Mors of the Fallen Winter is a C.O.-type enemy with an abnormally high amount of HP, and its Skill Haste increases whenever a unit on the battlefield retreats.Additionally, when it casts its Special skill, its defensive stats temporarily rise significantly.Please keep in mind that you will need to deal extremely high damage in a short period of time in order to stop it.[Event Raid]A new event raid featuring a special boss will be added to the raids that appear upon completing World Map Branch Dispatch missions.The event raid boss is the Guardian of Sephira, and this raid will be available as a single-level encounter set at level 190 and above.The Guardian of Sephira has the same appearance rate regardless of branch level or facilities. It does not appear as part of a separate season. Instead, it has a chance to replace the original boss whenever a raid appears, independent of the raid season.The Guardian of Sephira will run alongside the current raid season, and you will be able to exchange the special currency obtained from the event raid for items in the shop.[Great Expedition]We would like to express our gratitude to all CEOs who have shown great interest in the recently updated Grand Expedition and have been enjoying the content.We have also carefully reviewed the feedback you have shared, and based on your suggestions, we are preparing to deliver an improved Grand Expedition experience in the next season.First, if you have employees equipped with skins, we are planning to make those skins appear in Grand Expedition when those employees show up there as well.We are also considering enhancing Artifact stats so that their effects can be felt more clearly during gameplay.In addition to these changes, we will continue working hard to provide an even more enjoyable Grand Expedition experience based on the many valuable opinions you have given us.[Removal of Alternium Reactors]The Alternium Reactor, which has been placing an unintended burden on our CEOs, will be removed in December.As mentioned in a previous Developer Note, we are currently working on removing the Alternium Reactor and applying its effects directly to each employee’s skills instead. We are also reviewing a plan to allow CEOs to exchange Alternium Reactor related materials for desired items through the event shop.Additionally, please note that unit balance adjustments will continue based on Gauntlet season trends, focusing on employees with lower usage rates.[Unclaimed Counter Pass Rewards]If there are any unclaimed rewards when a Counter Pass season ends, they will now be automatically sent to your Inventory along with a notification popup.We sincerely apologize for the delay in delivering this feature, despite many CEOs having requested it for quite some time.The function to send unclaimed Counter Pass rewards to the Inventory is scheduled to be added in December, and we plan to apply the same system to unclaimed Prestige rewards afterward.However, please note that Prestige service rewards require additional development due to the existence of overflow rewards, so this update will take more time to complete. We kindly ask for your understanding.[Gauntlet Ban Rules]Although this is not part of the December update, we would like to give you an early notice regarding the Gauntlet ban rule changes currently under consideration for the next season.In the past, when 3-ban or 4-ban systems were active, it was difficult for CEOs to freely use newly acquired employees in Gauntlet, and it was unclear when those units would become available. For this reason, the system was changed to the current format.However, as many CEOs have expressed concerns about the repetitive pattern that occurs every other week, we are now reviewing and revising the Gauntlet ban system.Since we are currently mid-season and the update requires major code adjustments, the new ban rules are planned to be applied starting next season.First, employees selected as ban targets will not be able to be assigned to squads and will be unavailable for the entire season.In addition, no ban targets will be selected during the first two weeks of the season. Beginning in Week 3, two employees will be banned each week.Accordingly, four employees will be banned in Week 4, six in Week 5, and the number will continue to increase each week following the same pattern.Ban targets will be determined by selecting the employee with the highest number of wins and the employee ranked first in Casting Ban votes. Additionally, based on feedback from our CEOs, duplicate deployments will now be available for this mode.As you explore, you’ll be able to upgrade your employees, and even enhance your ships into higher-rarity versions. You will also earn Enhancement Points by clearing stages, which can be used to further strengthen your team.We hope you look forward to this new content, and more detailed information will be shared in the upcoming patch notes.[New Prestige Service]The ongoing Black Swan’s Oath Prestige Service will conclude on November 19, after which a new Prestige Service will begin.The next Prestige skin will feature Final Phase Sigma. We had hoped to present a new side of Sigma, who has long played the role of the CEOs’ adorable daughter.However, due to delays in the skin production schedule, the new skin will not be ready for unveiling at the start of this Prestige Service.Therefore, unlike previous Prestige Services that focused on a specific employee’s skin, the upcoming Prestige Service will allow CEOs to choose one skin directly from the lineup of past Prestige skins.If you wish for one of the previous Prestige skins you will be able to select one, or if you wish to acquire Sigma’s Prestige Skin, you will be able to select Sigma’s skin once it is officially updated.We sincerely apologize for the delay in the release schedule of Sigma’s skin, following the Horizon case. Unlike her previous role, where she wielded powerful elemental weapons from the frontline, she is now designed to support certain allies by assisting with Skill Haste.In addition, her structure allows her to grow stronger the more she uses her Special Skill, meaning the longer the battle lasts, the more directly she can contribute to combat.◆ Treasure★Hunter Mi Rinae[New Recruitment Employee - Paradox]In October, a new recruitable employee will also be introduced.This new employee is Paradox, who has shown a deadly charm through earlier story episodes.Paradox is being prepared as a 3-cost Supporter who assists Fury-type allies. She grants allies an ASPD buff and helps recharge the Fury Count of Fury-type employees.With Paradox’s release, Fury-type employees are expected to show an even more powerful presence on the battlefield.◆ Paradox[Café Strega 3rd Anniversary Event]At the end of October, coinciding with Halloween, the Café Strega 3rd Anniversary Event will take place.To celebrate Café Strega’s 3rd Anniversary, a new skin for Laura, the manager of Café Strega, will be released.In addition, two new Café Strega furnitures will be added, allowing CEOs to create an even more complete Café Strega look within the game.Furthermore, all existing Strega skins, including previously released ones, will receive exclusive effects.The new skin and furniture will be revealed in detail through the upcoming Patch Notes, so please look forward to it.[Dive Re-entry]Many CEOs have sent in feedback requesting the ability to retry Dives that they have already cleared.In particular, content creators who wish to make guides featuring the latest employees or provide strategies for new CEOs faced difficulties due to the inability to re-enter cleared Dives.To address this, the development team is preparing improvements that will allow re-entry into Dives.Additionally, after clearing the stage for the first time, CEOs will no longer need to spend entry resources.Dive re-entry is scheduled to be updated at the end of October, so please take note.[New Danger Close Boss - Knights of Redemption]A new Danger Close boss, Knights of Redemption, will arrive with the October 29 update.In this battle, numerous Knights of Redemption members will appear as monsters, and you must defeat them all before facing Nehemoth.As time passes, Nehemoth grows stronger, so CEOs will need to quickly clear the monsters and suppress Nehemoth before it becomes overwhelming.To help CEOs better prepare for Danger Close bosses, we are also preparing several improvements.First, additional information will be added to the tags of existing Danger Close bosses.Second, changes that occur when selecting High-Intensity Plans will now be displayed, making it easier to strategize and challenge Danger Close bosses.[New Limited Gauntlet Skin]With the start of the 2025 Sincere Season on September 29, we had planned to showcase the new skin illustration. We recognized this would place an unnecessary burden on CEOs due to resource acquisition, and thus decided to carry out these adjustments as balance patches instead.The original goal of the Alternium Reactor system was to revitalize older employees whose balance had fallen behind newer employees, offering motivation to play by bringing them up to a similar level.However, contrary to this intent, it was perceived as both a content barrier and a paid balance patch, leading us to consider it unsuccessful.As a result, we are temporarily suspending the release of Alternium Reactors and considering their complete removal. If removed, their effects will instead be integrated directly into the skills of the relevant employees.Going forward, we plan to apply balance patches at the start of each new Ranked Battle season, focusing on employees who saw low usage in the previous season.From this balance patch, 10 employees have been selected: Six Wings Lee Jisoo, Evolve One, Maestra Nequitia, Kostroma Mavka, Karin Wong, Dracasia, Nicole Primer, Mors, Ella, and Gambler.Please note that Harab requires additional code work and QA, so its balance adjustments will be patched separately at the end of October. As mentioned earlier, because PVE content includes a variety of battle conditions, the application of the Real-Time Battle Log system to PVE is still under review.We hope the Real-Time Battle Log proves useful in PVP content.[ New System - Partner Main Employee Support ]The Partner Main Employee Support system will also be updated.Unlike the existing raid support or other support units, this system allows the partner’s main employee to be deployed directly from your squad slot, consuming deployment resources.In addition, if you already own the same employee as the partner’s support employee, you can deploy both your own and your partner’s version of that employee in the same squad.The support employee will always be fixed in the 4th slot and can only be borrowed once per day from each partner.When a partner uses the support employee you registered, you will receive Dispatch Points via in-game mail, and accumulated Dispatch Points can be redeemed for achievement titles as rewards.We hope this new Partner Main Employee Support system makes your CounterSide experience even more enjoyable and convenient.[ Storage Expansion ]The most requested feature from our CEOs, the expansion of maximum storage capacity, will be applied on September 3.With this update, the maximum storage capacity will be increased by 200 slots. Storage expansion can still be carried out using Quartz as before, and once fully expanded, you will have access to a total of 2,200 slots.Since expanding storage capacity may have potential impacts on the game, we ask for your understanding if the expanded capacity does not fully meet your expectations. We will continue working to find ways to further expand storage in the future.[Miscellaneous Improvements] In addition, we are preparing several improvements to enhance the overall gameplay experience for our CEOs.First, the default setting for bot matching in Gauntlet Ranked Battles will be changed to ON.We received many suggestions asking for this adjustment and aimed to update it quickly, but additional time was needed due to code modifications and marketplace review processes. We kindly ask for your understanding, and please note that this change to the default bot matching setting will take effect starting September 3.Next, the weekly mission for login days will be eased from the current 3/5/7 days to 2/4 days.Currently, completing all weekly missions requires logging in every day, which we understand can be difficult for some CEOs due to personal circumstances. To address this, we are easing the requirements for login day missions.Furthermore, we are always listening to your feedback to create a more enjoyable gaming environment and are reviewing improvements across multiple areas. [ New Awakened Employee ]◆ Alaya Zenith YeonhwaThe new Awakened employee, Alaya Zenith Yeonhwa, is a member of the former [Trivanguard] under the Old Administration Special Task Unit. She is designed as a Defender-class bruiser-type employee who utilizes skills that grant buffs within a certain range on the battlefield, creating a combat environment advantageous to her allies.Although she belongs to the Defender class, she possesses a Passive Skill that allows her to retaliate with even stronger enhanced attacks based on the number of hits she receives. Rather than focusing solely on being a pure front-line tank, her design emphasizes enhancing her role as a damage dealer while holding the line.Alaya Zenith Yeonhwa is scheduled to be released with the Main Stream Episode 14 update on August 19 (UTC-5). [ New SSR Employee ]◆ VescaThe new SSR employee, Vesca, is a 3-cost Ranger-class employee with the concept of creating explosions using powder. She makes her first appearance and plays an active role in Main Stream Episode 14.Vesca’s skill design centers on using enhanced attacks that are stored as stacks whenever an ally or enemy deploys to the battlefield. Each time she uses an enhanced attack, the cooldown of her Ultimate Skill is reduced, allowing a smooth linkage between her enhanced attacks and her Ultimate.Her enhanced attacks are especially effective against enemies with high evasion, delivering devastating impact. With this unique skill composition, Vesca is expected to play a decisive role in countering high-evasion employees.Vesca will be available as a Counter Pass employee after the conclusion of the ongoing Carantisir de Letaria Counter Pass. ◆ SeosaengThe new SSR employee Seosaeng, scheduled for release in September, is a Ranger-class Counter employee making his debut and playing an active role in Main Stream Episode 14.Seosaeng’s skill design increases the number of hits in his enhanced attack each time he uses his Special Skill. This allows him to easily take down Defenders who are vulnerable to multi-hit attacks. Therefore, the key to maximizing Seosaeng’s potential lies in using his skills more frequently to make his enhanced attacks even more effective.Seosaeng will be available through the regular recruitment in September.◆ Wandering Sword Lee Jisoo (Operator)The awakened employee Lee Jisoo, known for acquiring many nicknames unintentionally, will be released as an Operator.This new version, Wandering Sword Lee Jisoo, represents her before joining the Six Wings, offering CEOs a fresh charm distinct from the original awakened Lee Jisoo. She wields a Command Skill that nullifies buffs from enemy Defenders and Strikers while applying a debuff that increases the damage they receive.Notably, if the affected employee’s cost is above a certain threshold, the debuff’s effect becomes even stronger, making her especially effective against high-cost Defender or Striker employees.Wandering Sword Lee Jisoo will be released alongside Main Stream Episode 14 on August 19 (UTC-5).[ New Vacance Skin ]To celebrate the CounterSide Origin 2.5th Anniversary, two new Vacation skins will be released.Following their release, a limited-time event will also take place, where obtaining these skins during the event period will grant you the corresponding skin skill cut-ins.◆ Red Witch Felix - Golden Summer◆ Anila - Guide of the Clear Blue CoastBrand new vacation skins are planned to be updated on August 19, 2025 (UTC-5).[ New Gauntlet Skin ]This coming October, the Gauntlet Sincere Season will begin, bringing with it the release of a brand-new Gauntlet skin. Please note that the skin’s illustration is still in production. Once it is complete, we promise to unveil it first through a dedicated Developer’s Note. You can obtain this new Gauntlet skin by reaching Diamond League or higher in Ranked Battle during the Sincere Season, so we hope many of you will take part![ Main Stream EP. 14 ]◆ BaraIn Main Stream EP.14 [Bara], the anticipated showdown with the Demon Lord, expected to be the main villain, will not be featured.Instead, before concluding the story of Main Stream Season 3, we felt it was necessary to first reveal the whereabouts of Joo Shiyoon and introduce several characters whose stories are key to explaining his motives for acting on the Six Wing’s request.This episode will focus on a narrative involving time, presenting a complete story that spans both the past and present through the [Trivanguard] arc of the former Administration Bureau’s Special Task Unit.You will discover why Six Wings Lee Jisoo ended up seeing the past instead of the future, why the Antagonist existed in the real world but the Demon Lord did not, and why Yeonhwa had to part with her family at what should have been her happiest moment. Before the final confrontation with the main villain, we recommend revisiting previous episodes after experiencing this chapter, as it will make for an even more enjoyable and insightful journey.[ Gear Storage Expansion ]The maximum gear capacity in the Storage, something many CEOs have requested, will be expanded by 200 slots.Previously, in developer notes and livestreams, we mentioned that expanding the gear storage limit was difficult due to server load concerns. While Operator slots could be supplemented through content like the Operator Side Skill Tokens, there was no such alternative for gear storage.As we know how diligently our CEOs play CounterSide and how the gear inventory keeps growing, we have decided to implement this 200-slot expansion in the September update. While we understand this increase may still fall short of your expectations, we will continue to explore various ways to address the ever-increasing number of gear items in the future.[Permanent Currency Drop Bonus for Substream & Main Stream]Currently, CounterSide offers over 40 Substreams, each with its own currency shop where CEOs can spend the currency earned from clearing that Substream’s Hard difficulty stages.To utilize multiple Substream currency shops, a large amount of Eternium is required. To help offset this, we have been running weekly rotation events that temporarily increase Substream currency drops.However, with the release of Exclusive gear for Awakened employees and the addition of currency shops to Main Stream episodes, the demand for Eternium has grown even further.In particular, unlike Substreams, Main Stream episodes have not had any currency drop events, making it even more difficult to obtain currency and Exclusive gear for Awakened employees.Considering the increased Eternium cost burden, especially for episodes where farming Exclusive gear is already challenging, we are making a change with the 2.5th Anniversary update.The previous episode-specific currency drop bonus will now be permanently applied to all Substreams and Main Stream episodes that have currency shops.Additionally, for stages in Substreams and Main Stream episodes where Exclusive gear for Awakened employees can be obtained, the drop rate for Exclusive gear will also be permanently increased.With this change, we expect that, through consistent play, CEOs will generally be able to collect all four pieces of desired Awakened Exclusive gear within about five days.While we understand this does not completely resolve the burden of the increased Eternium demand, we hope that the permanent boost to episode currency drops and Awakened Exclusive gear drop rates will make it easier and faster for you to use the shops and acquire the gear you want.[Raid Reward Upgrade and Revamp]Raids are a type of content where you defeat powerful bosses appearing on the World Map to obtain items such as Superconductor gears, Polymer gears, Britra, and Inhibitor Relic gears.Among these, Britra Relic gear, in particular, is considered one of the essential pieces of gear for achieving high performance across various content.In the second half of 2024, with the update introducing Lv. 190 Raids, the development team also added the new High-grade Raid Tokens to make acquiring such Raid Relic gear easier.However, we have confirmed that, in practice, many CEOs still face significant difficulty in obtaining their desired Raid Relic gear.To reduce the difficulty of obtaining Raid Relic gear, we will be revamping the Raid clear rewards and the T5-7 Raid gear Molds starting August 26 (UTC-5) update.First, for Raid clear rewards, the existing gear rewards will be removed, and the amount of Tokens obtained will be increased.This applies not only to Superconductor and Polymer Tokens but also to Black Flood Tokens obtained from defeating Kraken. Furthermore, the amount of High-grade Tokens acquired from defeating Raid Bosses Lv. 170 and above will also be increased.In addition, the crafting list for T5-7 Raid gear Molds, which can be crafted using regular Raid Tokens, will also be revamped. In this update, T5-6 gear will be removed from the crafting list, and it will be changed so that only SR and SSR-grade T7 gear can be crafted with a certain probability.However, in order to preserve the value difference between SR and SSR gear, the acquisition rate for SSR-grade gear will remain the same as before.Through this Raid reward upgrade and revamp, we hope CEOs will be able to obtain Raid Relic gear more easily and take on a wider range of challenging content.[Addition of Higher-Level Module Challenge]As the amount of gear owned by CEOs has increased, and with the recent addition of exclusive gear for Awakened employees that also includes potential stats, the demand for gear enhancement materials has grown compared to before.However, the main source of enhancement materials, Enhancement Modules, has not been revamped, resulting in a situation where the supply of materials cannot keep up with the demand for gear enhancement.To help ease the demand for enhancement materials, a new Higher-Level Module Challenge will be added with the August 19 update.In the Higher-Level Module Challenge, you can enter by consuming 500 Eternium per attempt. Upon clearing, you will be guaranteed to receive 1 Nano Precision Enhancement Module, and additionally, one of the following will drop at an equal probability (33.3% each): Enhancement Module, Precision Enhancement Module, or Nano Precision Enhancement Module.When converted to gear enhancement EXP, the rewards from this challenge are expected to be more than 1.5 times greater than those from the Module Challenge 1-3 dungeon.Furthermore, if we determine that CEOs still face a shortage of enhancement materials even after adding this new Module Challenge, additional measures will be taken to address the shortage and improve the gameplay experience.[Addition of Partner Main Employee Support Feature]The previous Partner Main Squad Support feature used in battlefield battles was removed when it was discontinued.Following many CEO requests, this support function will be reintroduced in the form of a Partner Main Employee.Unlike the support feature seen in Raids or Dives, the designated Partner Main Employee will appear in your squad slots and can be deployed by consuming your deployment resources.The Partner Main Employee will appear in the 4th slot, and even if your squad already contains the same unit, deployment will still be possible.You can receive support from the same partner once per day, with the support count resetting at 04:00 server time.Additionally, if your partner has used your representative employee for support at the time of reset, you will receive Dispatch Points via mail. These points can be accumulated to earn achievement titles.The Partner Main Employee Support feature is scheduled for release in September, with further details to be shared in the Patch Notes.[Balance Adjustments for Low-Usage Employees]With the start of the Sincere Season in October, balance adjustments will be made for employees who have seen low usage in Ranked Battles.Currently, we anticipate adjustments for around 10 employees, with the confirmed ones being [Maestra Nequitia], [Kostroma Mavka], [Evolved One], and [Harab]. Additional employees will be selected based on the ongoing combat environment.These adjustments are not intended to drastically change the Gauntlet meta. Instead, we expect to focus on modifying certain skills that the employees possess.In the case of [Harab], we plan to remove the existing [Confusion] mechanic and instead strengthen her role as a supporter who enhances allies.The balance adjustment plans, including Harab, are not yet finalized. Full details will be shared through the Patch Notes before the update.[ New Content - Great Expedition ]The Great Expedition is a new Dive event featuring a roguelike system, where you are presented with multiple choices and the results change based on your decisions.Unlike the standard Dive, the Great Expedition will only be available during specific event periods. Instead of using your squads, you will begin the expedition with a designated ship, employees, and an operator. Your goal is to advance through various event-filled stages and ultimately defeat the final boss.During the expedition, you can recruit employees you encounter and add them to your squad or swap them with existing members. You will also have the chance to upgrade your ship, as well as choose and replace your operator’s support skills to create a more favorable environment.In addition, playing the Great Expedition will grant you exclusive points that can be accumulated and exchanged for rewards. Unlike other events, there will be no ranking system tied to these points, allowing all CEOs to enjoy the event without competitive pressure. [ Regarding Season 3 Episodes ]In 2023, with Main Stream EP.10, Season 2 of CounterSide came to an end, and Season 3 began with the supplement episode [Administration Complete].During Season 3, through Main Stream and Substream, we have shared the stories of various employees after the Qliphoth Game, as well as stories set in regions that had not been covered before. We are aiming to conclude the Season 3 episodes in early 2026.Additionally, starting in September, a special type of story that has not been done before will take place.In Season 3, the Demon Lord [Tagirion] made her first appearance. Now, as she regains his full power, the resulting phenomenon called “Omen” occurs in reality, putting the directly governed cities of the Administration Bureau in a desperate crisis.The “Omen” episode tells the story of representatives from the six directly governed cities and those who seek to protect them, joining forces in their ways to defend their world from the catastrophe.“Omen” will run from September for a total of 6 episodes, releasing at 3-week intervals, set in the six directly governed cities of the Administration Bureau.We ask for your anticipation for the many diverse regional stories that have yet to be told.[Real-Time Battle Log]In battles where multiple employees are deployed and several skills are activated at the same time, the screen can be visually impressive, but it can also make it difficult to assess the battle situation.To address this, a real-time battle log feature will be added, displaying information at the bottom of the screen such as which deployed employee dealt damage to whom, and who defeated whom.This feature can be toggled ON/OFF at any time through the options menu. Due to additional considerations for various PvE environments like Raids and Co-op Battles, the feature will first be introduced in PvP environments.We hope the real-time battle log will help you better grasp the battle situation with greater clarity.[New CEO Attendance Punch-in Revamp]To help new CEOs who are experiencing CounterSide for the first time settle into the game more smoothly, the punch-in rewards for new CEOs will be revamped.The development team has determined that the current new CEO attendance rewards, considering the service period, are somewhat lacking and provide items that are not closely aligned with helping CEOs get accustomed to the game.Therefore, we will be revamping the rewards provided to new CEOs upon their first login to create an environment where they can play CounterSide more comfortably.The revamped new CEO attendance rewards will be applied starting with the August 19 update. In addition, we have structured the new punch-in rewards so that all CEOs currently playing CounterSide can also claim them.If you are in the middle of receiving the pre-revamp new CEO attendance rewards at the time of the update, you will be able to claim both the pre- and post-revamp rewards.
