Dear CEOs,This is Kim Hyun Soo, the Head PD of CounterSide.We thank all our CEOs for all the support and love sent to CounterSide.In this month's Dev Notes, we'll provide more details about the upcoming updates during May.[ Mainstream EP. 13 - The Law of Creating a World ]First, we would like to share the news about the Mainstream episode that many CEOs eagerly await.Before introducing the upcoming Mainstream EP. 13, we would like to inform you about the Mainstream update schedule.As mentioned in the previous Developer’s Note, CounterSide has been gradually revealing key narrative threads through the Substream episodes—threads that tie directly into the Mainstream storyline. At the same time, we’ve been continuing to unfold the stories of key characters from the same narrative perspective.The upcoming Mainstream EP.13 – The Laws of Creating a World, a full-scale story will develop through these narrative connections, offering more substantial content than the past ones.Due to the sheer scale of this episode, EP. 13 will be released in two parts. Part 1 is set to update on May 20 (UTC-5), while Part 2 is planned for release in June.We understand that many of our CEOs might feel disappointed by the split update, especially after waiting so long for the next Mainstream episode.However, the amount of content in Part 1 alone is comparable to ACTs 1 through 4 of the Substream combined, hence there will be plenty to dive into.While splitting the Mainstream was not ideal, we appreciate your understanding that it is essential for achieving the highest quality storytelling for Season 3.In this Mainstream EP. 13, Swan kidnaps Noelle in order to achieve her own goals, while a massive spaceship appears in the Normalside. As the situation unfolds, each faction scrambles to locate Swan and respond to the growing crisis.Will they succeed in tracking her down? And what is the true nature of this enormous spaceship? We look forward to your excitement and anticipation for what’s to come.[ New Awakened Employee - Personification of Sephira Noellele Wright]In the upcoming Mainstream, the newest rookie of the Fenrir Squad, Noellele Wright, will appear in an all-new form.Personification of Sephira Noellele Wright remains a Counter-type Sniper employee like the original SSR version. However, as illustrated below, she’ll be returning with wings—this time as an air-type employee.To let everyone enjoy the Mainstream episode without spoilers, we won’t be diving too deeply into her backstory just yet. As for her detailed combat concept, we will be sharing more information in the upcoming patch notes, so please stay tuned.◆ Personification of Sephira Noellele Wright [ New Employee - Black Rose ]The Counter Pass employee for May will be Black Rose of Betatrix, following Gambler, who received much love from the CEOs.Black Rose will be a Soldier-type Sniper employee who is being prepared in a multi-soldier format.Black Rose is a new face in the Mansion, and the face under her visor might be familiar to the CEOs, but please do not confuse her with a Persona version of another employee. ◆ Black Rose[ New Operator - Justine Macy ]Justine Macy, who first appeared in the Substream Alice Emergency and was loved by many CEOs, is scheduled to be released as a new Operator.Justine Macy is an Operator who grants the effect of increasing the Skill Haste of ally Rangers and enhances their offensive abilities.Look forward to Justine's arrival as an Operator, and please refer to the patch notes for detailed information ◆ Operator Justine Macy [ New Danger Close Boss - Nibble ]The adult version of Nibble, who was revealed in the Substream, Winter Vacation, will be appearing as a Danger Close boss.Like the characteristics shown in the story, Nibble absorbs power and becomes stronger each time she defeats the opponent.Also, be aware that she will unleash powerful attacks when she absorbs a certain amount of power, and we hope you will strategize to defeat this new Danger Close boss. [ Alternium Reactor ]The employees for the next Alteranium Reactor are Snipers, following the recent balance patch for the Sniper class.As mentioned in the March Developer's Note, stat adjustments such as ATK and HP were carried out through the balance patch, and the Alteranium Reactors are being prepared in a way that strengthens the employees' advantages or compensates for their weaknesses.The Alteranium Reactor targets are Lucid, Drekavac, and Morgana, and detailed information will be provided in a future patch note [ Squad Tornament The Worlds ]The cross-server Squad Tournament, which many CEOs have been waiting for, is scheduled to be held in May.Squad Tournament The Worlds will be conducted simultaneously on the Korea and Global servers, so there will be some differences from the previous Squad Tournaments.First, banned units will be voted on separately for each server, but the banned units determined from both servers will be applied to all servers.Also, the qualifiers will be conducted separately for each server, with 16 CEOs being qualified from each server. In the elimination round, 4 qualifiers from each server will be assigned to each group, featuring matchups between the Korea server and the Global server.As the Squad Tournament The Worlds is the first content where all CEOs from both servers will participate, we have prepared enhanced ranking and prediction rewards, so please look forward to the event and participation.
