This is Kim Hyun Soo, the Head PD of CounterSide.

Last August, to celebrate CounterSide Origin's 1.5th anniversary, we provided the CEOs with a coupon code for a special reward, including an SSR Awakened Testimonial.

In addition, when we released the coupon code, we informed that there is an expiration date and a note that it cannot be used after the expiration. 

However, we confirmed that the 1.5th anniversary coupon codes are being used even after the expiration has passed, and we noticed that the reward is being exchanged normally through the mail when the coupon code is used. 

Furthermore, the expiration date of the reward item exchanged separately from the coupon code is set to October 9th, so if synchronization occurs between the device and the server after exchanging the reward item through the coupon code, an error occurs in which the reward item disappears. 

We apologize for the confusion caused and for the fact that you were unable to use the reward items properly. Now we will inform you about the response measures to this coupon code expiration date and error. 

First, the two coupon codes with expiration date errors are as follows

▣ Compensation for Deleted Coupons due to Expiration
 

• Full restoration of all unused 1.5th anniversary coupon rewards due to item expiration.

• Restoration of coupon code rewards for those who redeemed the coupon code before September 14th but have not used the rewards.

• Scheduled restoration: We will verify the usage status of all coupon codes and rewards after the expiration date, October 30th. All unused rewards will be restored during the first week of November.

• Usage period: Restored items can be used until 14:00 on December 4th. After this date, unused items will be deleted.

• Note: CEOs who have already used the reward contents after redeeming the coupon code are not eligible for this restoration.

We sincerely apologize for the inconvenience caused by the expiration date error and will provide our CEOs with more detailed information in the upcoming patch notes.

We are committed to preventing similar issues from occurring in the future and apologize for the recent issues that have caused concern among many of our CEOs. We will be implementing additional quality control processes and conducting more thorough testing during development.
